| I
am a grammar school cheerleading coach. Our first competition
of the season was on Valentines Day 2004. After the teams competed,
there was a break before the awards were announced. My sister
talked to me for a few minutes and then we left the gym. As I
walked into the break room, I noticed my cheerleaders holding
heart balloons. My sister Amy pointed out that some of them had
flowers too, so they must be doing something for us as their
coaches. When we got near them, they separated and my daughter
& Billy's daughter came through the middle with roses. Then
he came out. Up on chairs in a room full of hundreds of cheerleaders,
coaches & parents, he gave the most romantic speech and brought
the room to tears. Surrounded by my team, and both of our families,
he proposed. Through my tears I screamed yes! Everyone at the
competition burst into applause and started taking pictures.
My team came in 3rd, but I was still the big winner of the day! |
