We are so glad we found North Shore House! From the last-minute visit in the middle of December to view the venue, through leaving Sunday after the wedding, they made everything as simple and easy as possible.
We chose to stay the whole weekend, arriving Friday and leaving Sunday. Guests are still telling us about something or someone that made the day even more memorable (beyond the whole marriage part), and we have received so many comments on how the staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests had the best possible experience.
We cannot recommend enough that you should hold your wedding or other celebration at North Shore House. Be it for the day or for the weekend, Eric, Kelly, Louise, and everyone else made us feel incredibly well taken care of, and we hope you allow them to do the same for you on your special day!

Our wedding was supposed to be yesterday. From the moment this pandemic became a reality and the future of our wedding was in question Eric has communicated with me honestly and offered any and all support he can. I can best describe NSH as a unique, hidden gem. Each visit we feel valued and like extended family members rather than just clients. The staff is hand-selected from the wait staff to bartenders and wedding planning assistants. The attention to detail in not only the construction of the building and grounds but down to the napkins in the bathrooms,that you aren’t sure if you should throw out, is indescribable. Today while talking with Eric he said something along the lines of, “We meet people for tours and know this place isn’t for them. It isn’t for everybody.” I hope this place will be for you. I hope when you visit you feel the little bit of peace and magic that I do.

The North Shore House is a hidden gem in the rough. Located in Sussex county, this rustic historic hotel is a great fit for many types of catered events. The beautiful views are truly lovely any time of the year. The "point" lends itself to a perfect outdoor wedding. The venue provides panoramic lake views as a pristine back drop. My family and I have many fond memories spent on the lake at this family run property. Best wishes for a spectacular event location.

I had my wedding at the North Shore House in October. The lake was the most beautiful ceremony location and the sunset was an amazing added bonus. Aside from the sheer beauty of this location/venue, the staff was incredibly attentive before the wedding and during. I had many options to choose from for cocktail hour and dinner. The food (including the cake) and the service ended up being top notch. If you're looking for an amazing venue for your wedding, party, event, you've found it. Inside and out, this place is breathtaking!

We had our Daughter's wedding at the North Shore House. It was beyond fantastic. The service was impeccable, the owners delightful and attentive to our every need. The facility offers stunning views of Swartswood Lake and a very relaxed atmosphere for all, especially for 4 very nervous parents of the Bride and Groom. I would recommend it very highly to anyone considering a function.

Had my daughter and my new son in law's wedding at the North Shore House. The day was beautiful and the grounds were spectacular! The owners were very gracious, accommodating and they went above and beyond in aiding in every way. Kudos to the staff! You all did a wonderful job. Thank you for making a great day unforgettable!
