Located in Cape May, NJ, the Cape May Convention Hall is an event facility steps away from the beautiful South Jersey shore beach. The historic little town of Cape May is a year-round popular destination spot for tourists and locals alike. It’s no surprise that its Victorian architecture and family-friendly atmosphere make it the perfect location for weddings and special events! In addition, its exciting landmarks, main streets for shopping and dining, and more recreational activities allow for a wedding weekend getaway. Of course, there are even other surrounding beach towns to visit such as Wildwood, Ocean City, and Atlantic City. At Enchanted Celebrations, we have had the opportunity to travel to this adorable town for many of our client’s beach weddings. The Beachfront Ballroom at the Cape May Convention Hall is known for its rehearsals, weddings, brunches and other private events. As the surrounding town offers must-see attractions and scenery for the weekend, you’ll want to have your own suite (hello, wedding vacay!). Luckily, Cape May Convention Hall also has a private wedding suite for your busy and fun wedding day festivities. (Peep this glowing bride, Lauren, prepping to see Roger in her stunning suite!).
In addition to a suite, the facility offers up plenty of space (20,000 square feet, to be exact!) to host your grand event for up to 300 people. Your ceremony can either take place inside the ballroom, outside on the deck, or even the beach. (Check Taylor and Ray’s beach ceremony out here!). Furthermore, there are two event halls, a catering kitchen, meeting room, and even an atrium. With a passionate events team handling your requests, couples can chose their own vendors to add their unique personal style. Inside, you’ll find various sizes of reception and cocktail tables, and banquet chairs throughout the hall. Also, we cannot forget to mention the windows that provide a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean!
(We hope you read that title to the tune of the song!). Ready to check out some real Convention Hall weddings? We have a few of our favorites in mind to share. First up, Destinee and Nick’s May wedding! There may be millions of fish in the sea…but Destinee and Nick were completely meant to find each other! The couple planned a unique way to arrive at the venue after their ceremony, by trolley! This adorable couple gazed towards the ocean while the sun was slowly setting on the water, which created the perfect photo opps. These Cape May Convention Hall Wedding Photos captured for the newlyweds showed the breathtaking cotton candy colored sky as their backdrop. Finally, the party kicked off inside The Beachfront Ballroom, which featured all the beach-inspired decorations you could dream of!
While the weather may be a little cooler in the spring or fall, there is still the presence of a warm, salty sea breeze. One particular couple, Lauren and Drew, had the night of their lives as they locked lips and wed on a gorgeous October day! These two had all the romantic vibes going on with a horse and carriage that read,”Just Married!” The couple’s Cape May Convention Hall Wedding Photos captured this perfect personalized touch to complete their perfect day. The couple had exchanged their vows on the outdoor deck and kissed to this new chapter in their lives as one. Two hundred of their friends and family jumped to their feet to congratulate the newlyweds, ready to dance the magical night away! The Cape May Convention Hall’s excellent and hospitable staff made it all happen with ease, and we loved joining in on the fun too!
We all love a fall or spring wedding, however, nothing compares to the sweet summertime bliss at the Jersey Shore! This June wedding sure was sweet, as Andie and Ryan tied the knot and sealed their love. It was a warm summer day for a beachy photo session on the rocky Jetty. Their Cape May Convention Hall Wedding Photos taken were so creative and candid! Andie wore a stunning classic white wedding dress. Meanwhile, Ryan was looking sharp in a light tan colored suit. Their intimate ceremony took place on the wooden plank boardwalk-style deck. The backdrop of the Cape May beach and Atlantic Ocean was the perfect, picturesque touch to the ceremony! Afterwards, it was finally time for the reception to dance and celebrate! All of their Cape May Convention Hall Wedding Photos showcased how beautifully decorated the Beachfront Ballroom was! The room was decked out in bright teal tones to coordinate with the beachy summer vibes. Our team had so much fun at this unique wedding!
Last, but most certainly not least, Tiffany and Kyle’s wedding in July had all the summer magic and love in the air! Like Lauren and Drew, this cute couple had a horse and carriage on their special day. Of course, it was only right to take advantage of the beach for portraits at sunset! During their photo sesh, the sky was painted with the most gorgeous pink and purple tones ever. You would totally mistake these photos for a postcard! Lastly, to end their perfect evening, they added even more magic with a sparkler send-off. These picture-perfect Cape May Convention Hall Wedding Photos will be timeless treasures forever!
