Greetings from the Jersey Side of the Hudson: Envue Hotel
We recently had the opportunity to partner with the event team at Personal Touch Experience to develop a wedding look at the swank new EnVue hotel. Located at Port Imperial in Weehawken, NJ, this neighborhood has been quickly expanding and weddings in this area are continuing to grow in popularity.
Sweeping views of the midtown Manhattan skyline and a 15,000-square-foot rooftop make Envue a great option for anyone who craves the luxury NYC experience without crossing the Hudson. If you’re planning a wedding, private party or a corporate event, Envue provides a ballroom with beautiful views and natural light that feels classic and timeless, while still being modern. A 3,000-square-foot all-season tent provides flexibility to bring events outdoors year-round.
Timeless Ballroom Look
The ballroom space lends itself to a classic look, and the team incorporated old-world glamour using classic-style silver chargers, ballroom chairs and pewter tones. “Inside the ballroom, our goal was to complement the colors and accents using a classic, timeless look,” stated Ashley Allegretta, Event Planner at Personal Touch Experience, “We wanted to subtly showcase the gorgeous chandeliers and textures in the space while showing off the elegance and grandness of the decor of the hotel.”
“Our goal was to remain simple, yet elegant, trendy and chic out on the deck,” Ashley continued. “We did just that by building a simple arch with touches of floral and really beautiful chairs outside. These pieces made the space look stunning and complimented the view as opposed to overshadowing the most important part of the space – the NYC Skyline.”
“I love clean lines and simple elegance. I am obsessed with rose gold and blush color schemes that I feel are timeless. I am really excited when we get to add lace and different textures to an event. Another fun trend I love for summer is lots of palms and tropical floral! For this shoot we stuck with a simple more industrial elegant look and I just loved the way we were able to soften the cityscape, yet stay modern and chic with it!”
