Happy 25th Anniversary to David Eric Studio of Photography!

The first bride and groom that David Eric Photography ever photographed under our ownership should now be celebrating their 25th anniversary! That’s 25 years of wedded bliss for them, and 25 years of preserving cherished memories for us, Jerry and Caroline Rizzo. In both cases it is an accomplishment worth celebrating, and in both cases it represents a lot of hard work, love, laughter, and commitment. Let’s get the first question people always ask out of the way. Why is a photography studio owned by a couple named Jerry and Caroline called David Eric Photography? Well, the name represents our commitment to excellence and our desire to uphold the reputation the previous owner of the studio, David Eric Mayer, built during his decades of business. His brand, due to his long history and outstanding work, was worth preserving, and we are pleased to say that his name has been safe in our hands!

What a 25 years it has been! We have been privileged to get to know hundreds of couples at one of the happiest times of their lives. We’ve been able to explore, expand and share our artistic vision and create a business out of a passion. Our hard work and dedication have paid off: we’ve been honored with numerous awards, including The Knot’s “Best of Weddings” in 2007, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016; The Knot’s Hall of Fame Award in 2014 and 2015; and the Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award in 2011 and 2012. We have established ourselves now as a full service studio offering a complete wedding memory experience and exceptionally high end products. As proud members of the Professional Photographers of America since 1992, we have kept abreast of current innovations and trends in the world of wedding photography. We are steeped in the traditions of the past as well as the techniques of the future. Our experience over the last 24 years, paired with the continuing knowledge and education we seek in our chosen field, has kept us versatile and able to accommodate any couple’s goals for their wedding photographs. We receive tremendous satisfaction from being able to deliver the very highest degree of professionalism and personal attention to each of the amazing couples with whom we are so privileged to work. As it does for any happy couple, our anniversary reminds us to take time to reflect and be grateful for what we have accomplished.
