Large Bridal party or Not

Large Bridal party or Not

I know, I know.  It's hard to choose.  You want everyone to be a part, you don't want to leave anyone out.  Most importantly you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.  However,  did you know the size of your bridal party has an impact on your budget?   Yes,  it indeed does.  Think about it, there are many cost associated with your Bride Squad.  Their Bouquets, their transportation, their gifts,  Also, there is no way you would want to manage this Squad on your own without a day of coordinator.  Most brides don't think about this when setting the budget.

Also, The ratio between your guest and bridal party must and should make sense.  I've seen weddings with 150 guest and a bridal party of 28 (including guys and gals), make sense, absolutely not.  The persons you ask to be a part of your wedding party should be either a close family member or friend.  If you’re asking people out of obligation, Stop!  Don't feel obligated to include someone because you were in the other person's wedding.  That doesn't mean they have to be in yours.  What if you are the last person to get married out of your group of friends or family?  That would be a lot of obligations to fulfill.

Once you factor in bouquets for your bridesmaids and boutonnières for your groomsmen, the size of your wedding party can have a huge impact on your floral budget. So if you have to have a large wedding party here's what I would suggest.  Consider smaller bouquets or even a single, pretty stem for your 'maids to keep costs under control.  Expect to spend at least $1000.00 on bouquets and boutonnieres for bridal parties of 10 or more.
