NEWS: Weddings Not Included In New NJ Restrictions
We've been following the news about the latest rise in COVID-19 cases in New Jersey and wanted to share it here.

While Governor Phil Murphy put more restrictions on gatherings starting today (11/17), he included some exceptions like Indoor Weddings, which may continue under the current rules – limited to 25% of a room’s capacity, up to 150 people. Other important guidelines include that all attendees at indoor gatherings must wear face coverings and stay six feet apart. And unfortunately, dance floors at all venues are closed due to the high-risk of spreading COVID-19 in these spaces, where many individuals may be in close contact with one another.

You can view this link to the Governor's full details and Executive Order, and we will keep up with any updates, as they relate to the local weddings community, and will continue to post it on our NJWedding.com Facebook PageNew Jersey Weddings FB GroupTwitter, or our other social media channelsBoth engaged couples and wedding professionals are affected by this public health crisis, and together we can work toward improving it and get back to celebrating milestone events.

Do you or your couples have more questions related to planning during the pandemic?

We've put together this guide to "Planning Your Wedding In New Jersey: 2020 Edition" which you can feel free to post and share, too.

It contains information about the latest news regarding weddings, guidelines for indoor and outdoor gatherings (updated 11/17), suggestions from local venues and wedding pros, details virtual marriage options, along with micro-weddings and planning a traditional wedding.

We hope you find it helpful.
