Shayna and John's Honey Jar Wedding Favors Story

We’re so happy to hear from our bride Shayna, sharing the story of how she and her husband John selected their Honey Jar Wedding Favor from E+M Wedding Favors for their May 2015 wedding held in Auburn, New York:

“I found [the E+M Wedding Favors] shop on Etsy and started talking to them about how many favors I might need, as well as how late I could place the order while still getting them in time for my wedding.  I was worried about guessing on a final count before receiving back my RSVP’s, and they were extremely flexible!  I also wanted to choose my own labels for the lids from another shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/OrangeUmbrellaCo), and was so grateful that E+M Wedding Favors applied them to the jars for a small added fee.”

“I chose the 2oz Natural Honey Jar Wedding Favor. I loved how affordable they were and so cute with the added flying bee and heart label.  We wanted something small that people could easily travel with, since we had a lot of out of town guests, and especially something that everyone could use.”

We’re so impressed by how Shayna and John chose to display their honey favors. “My amazing wedding planner (Kate @ Lovewell Design – http://lovewelldesign.com) designed flat seating cards, and we placed each guest’s honey jar on top of their card.  I loved the idea of the theme ‘love is sweet,’ so she made a sign to match, complete with a buzzing bee!”

About her wedding guests’ reactions to their E+M wedding favors, Shayna says, “A lot of times I’ll notice at weddings that guests leave their favors on the table, but mostly everyone took their honey home with them.  Everyone thought they were cute and so useful, who doesn’t love honey?”
