I can help you fully plan your wedding or special event, coordinate the day of, add design elements with our unique vintage & antique décor, or officiate the ceremony you and your partner have always dreamed of.
Growing up near Sandy Hook I spent most of my time on the nearby beaches and up in the Hartshorne woods overlooking the shoreline which influenced my whimsical and rustic design motif. My main motivations and inspirations come from my loving daughter Aurora, my husband Jesse, and our awesome tuxedo cat Sox (who is always wedding ready!).
I began working in the hospitality industry from a very young age and found my true calling specifically working full time with weddings and special events in 2017. Since the pandemic, I have become ordained, launched Sunflower & Seashell Event Co (after many years of daydreaming about it!), and have found that I have finally “married” all of my unique skills into the perfect career. I’m extremely passionate about ensuring every single detail is thoughtful and customized to your unique love story and look forward to hopefully making your big day completely blissful.

Jenny is the real deal. After opting for a venue with little wedding experience, I hired Jenny to help oversee all the moving parts. Jenny's organization and communication are unmatched. As someone who works in professional services, I have high expectations, and she blew them out of the water. She represents your best interests when communicating with vendors and organizes all of the moving parts into a detailed timeline and then she ensures it's executed perfectly throughout the day. I was able to be fully present at my wedding because of her attention to detail.
On top of all that, she is calm, genuinely kind, and has a heart of gold. Hire Jenny. She's the best!!

Hiring Jenny was the best decision we could have made. She made our wedding an absolute dream and is just all around the coolest to work with! She understood our vision and handled anything that was thrown at her (wrangling our bridal party for photos, put my hair piece in when my stylist had forgotten, hemming a part of my dress that ripped, etc. ). Jenny was a saving grace in so many situations that we would have never even thought of! She started contacting all of vendors to make sure everyone was following the same timeline. She thought of things that never came into mind. The day off… she was on top of everything. Even when there was / could be a slight hiccup during the getting ready process she made sure it was corrected and fixed it before we could even think to start worrying about it! She kept everyone on schedule through photos, ceremony, reception, everything. When we have special photo shots we wanted… she made sure to hit everything on our list. She allowed us to really be able to enjoy our day even with as fast as it flys by! Would highly recommend working with Jenny. Super detail oriented and amazing personality. We really truly gained a friend in our lives meeting and working with her. You would not be disappointed!

Jenny has been nothing short of amazing my entire wedding planning process and of course the day of. From every little question, even to all of the chaos the day of (thank you hurricane Ian), Jenny made everything feel so easy and kept things running smoothly. I cannot recommend Jenny enough. She made our day flow smoothly, was SO personable that she befriended most of the bridal party along the way, and still didn't miss a beat on any detail and remained flexible when certain details needed to be changed last minute. She thought of things I never would've (like putting our centerpieces up in our bridal suite before we got there and decorating using our ceremony petals! how sweet!) and constantly checked in without overwhelming me in moments when I was busy. Seriously, just book Jenny. You will NOT regret it. Even if you're a type A bride (like me) and think you've thought through everything, give yourself the gift of a coordinator who takes the time to get to know her brides, their personalities and their needs, so she can help make their day memorable and let them focus on themselves for once. Jenny charges a very reasonable amount for all her work but the work she does and the comfort it provides you is priceless.

Jenny was a pleasure to work with! I really felt like I gained a best friend in this wedding planning process! I felt like she understood my vision. She asked things I wasn’t even thinking about. I originally hired Jenny as my officiant & seeing how detailed she was & the way she always offered her help, I knew I just had to hire her as my day of coordinator too. Also, if anybody is type A like I am & feels like you can/need to do it all on your own-you are wrong. You need Jenny. She will have your day down to the minute & it was a dream to find somebody like that! She is so detail oriented & will make sure you don’t have to worry about a single thing. She managed to be there whenever you needed her, yet was always doing something in the background- like she magically split herself into 3. She also was quick on her feet literally & figuratively. We had to have so many changes & she did them with such ease. Even during my ceremony she was quick to add a joke about all the sirens that were going off or move past when we realized we forgot our rope for the unity ceremony. I could go on & on about how phenomenal Jenny is so just hire her for your next event!

My husband and I hired Sunflower & Seashell Event Company for a day of coordinator for our wedding in June of 2022. Jenny, the owner was 100% available to us prior to her contracted date but once that date hit she was working at 200%! Jenny was our advocate, not missing one detail and making sure we happy with all decisions made. She is professional, timely, detailed oriented and ready for any hiccups or curveballs! She truly was spectacular and made us feel so comfortable. In fact, we added on her service of officiant where she customized the ceremony just beautifully. S&SE is worth obtaining for your wedding!

She truly cared about and listened to every single detail that Chris and I told her about. She valued both my opinion, as well as my groom equally, and helped us have the most magical day ever! Even before the actual big day, Jenny provided tremendous support and help in recommending other vendors and ways of working. She helped guide us in the decision making process when there were choices to make where we didn't know what the right choice was. On the actual day of, Jenny was part of all of the magic. She kept the show on the road, and made sure to keep our entire wedding party and event in line. From ensuring every single detail was right, to setting up all of our decor perfectly, to making sure my niece didn't have a full on meltdown when her photo prop stick broke, Jenny truly was one of the main reasons why everything went so smoothly on our wedding day. This woman is AMAZING!! Jenny Gerbasi ran our wedding, from the month prior (and before!) to the second we left the venue, with absolute flawlessness. When she said "handle unforseen circumstances to the best of my ability " she means it.... even if that means having the bride roll her knee before cake cutting!!
