The Bride-To-Be Needs The “Extra 15” | Endless Wave Studios
When you envision your wedding day, you think of the most special day of your life. From getting pampered, to posing for pictures as if you’re a model for a day, saying “I Do” to your best friend and celebrating with your family and closest friends. You want to look back and remember it as the easiest and happiest day ever, not“ Oh my goodness I was rushing the entire day, I didn’t think I wasn’t going to make it to the alter in time!” Fortunately, we have come up with a solution that has proven to be successful and given brides up to 45 minutes to an hour of relaxation before she leaves the house. This is what we like to call the “Extra 15.”
While you are planning your big day in advance, give yourself an extra fifteen minutes for everything. Need to wake up at 7AM? Set your alarm for 6:45.
For a bride, the main components of the morning of your wedding consist of the following:
Hair – Approximately an hour Makeup – Approximately a half hour Reading letters/ Exchanging Gifts with your Groom – Approximately twenty minutes Getting Dressed – Approximately a half hour
Now take all of those times and add an extra fifteen minutes. Why? Just in case your fake eyelashes do not stick on properly the first time and you need to reapply a few times or your flower girl isn’t sitting still while getting her hair done and it takes a few more minutes, you have those minutes to spare and not rush around.
