We can accommodate up to 200 guests, giving you a welcoming and intimate setting for your wedding, whether large or small.
Conveniently located near I-295 in Ewing, New Jersey, we are about one hour from Philadelphia and an hour and half from New York City. We are open year round, air-conditioned, and ADA accessible.

Price Range

Our site fee for wedding ceremonies is $750 and includes one hour for the rehearsal and four hours on the day of the wedding. For an additional fee, we can accommodate receptions within the Sanctuary. Arrangements can also be made with the Ewing-Covenant Presbyterian Church across Scotch Road for larger reception facilities.

The 1867 Sanctuary is a beautiful, 200-seat, ADA-accessible gathering place known for its excellent acoustics and beautiful stained glass windows. Preservation New Jersey, a historic preservation nonprofit, is now operating this landmark building. The 1867 Sanctuary serves the central New Jersey and Bucks County region as an impressive venue for concerts and entertainment – and, of course, weddings, funerals, and other ecumenical and interfaith activities. It is easily reached from routes I-295, NJ 29, 31, and US 1 and 206.
