My name is Rebecca and I am a licensed cosmetologist and a certified makeup artist. I got into doing hair and makeup when I was in middle school. I used to color my friends’ hair crazy colors and their moms would be so upset to the point where they weren’t allowed to hang out with me! During my high school years, I attended cosmetology school, and I knew from that moment I wanted to be in this industry. When I was 16, I networked on social media and traveled by train to NYC in order to work with photographers without pay. After I collected photos for my portfolio, my business exploded, and that’s how I became the personal makeup artist for UNM Pageant. I am so grateful for them in seeing my potential.
