Central Jersey's best kept secret, the Byron Barn is a lovely special events venue in Plainsboro, New Jersey that boasts vintage charm ready for couples to make it their own for their wedding day. The barn is one of the town's oldest structures and includes both indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy your special event. Founders Tom and Corinne Sekinger welcome people with their hearts and have created an atmosphere of warmth that sets their guests at ease.

Facilities and Capacity
The Byron Barn has 4 attractive indoor spaces for your special event. Guests enter into the Lounge and are greeted by an inviting cozy space with original wood beams and accents, comfy sofas and soft lighting. The Lounge can be used for cocktail hour or a smaller reception. Stairs in the Lounge lead up to the 2,000 square-foot main event space, the Great Room. The large open-concept room includes beautiful original beamed ceilings giving the space a rustic look. The Great Room is equipped with a soundboard and has easy access to two restrooms. 

Steps leading down from the Lounge take you to our spacious Kitchen.
The Kitchen fits right into the theme of the beamed barn, with the old foundation stones as walls. The Kitchen can be used by your caterer solely for food preparation or could also double as your bar or buffet area. Two more restrooms can be found on the way to the Kitchen.
The entire barn is equipped with central heating, and air conditioning for comfort. The Great Room and the Lounge are both wheelchair accessible.

The Withdrawing Rooms are reserved for the bridal party to dress, have their first toasts, and enjoy each other before guests arrive.
Outside, lovingly tended flower patches, bushes, and mature trees surround the barn and there's always something blooming from early Spring till the first frost. With tree stumps set around for seats, the Fire Pit is a warm, cozy way to wind down your special day as guests linger around the fire. Great for the last hours of your big to-do or as a central gathering place for your engagement party, stag event or bridal shower! The south side of the barn is a great space to set up an outdoor bar and play horseshoes or corn hole.

Day-Of-Coordination : Corinne Sekinger is a seasoned hostess who will meet with you for planning, coordinate necessities with your vendors and help your special day run with grace and efficiency.

The Byron Barn is seasonally decorated by Corinne.  In warmer months, you'll find fresh flowers from the garden gracing unexpected corners. When the cold hits, the barn warms up with evergreen cuttings from outdoors and twinkling lights. Extra florals and cuttings can be added into your package.
