Why I started Plated, you ask? 

Ever since the beginning of time (1997), I have had a love for food.

I had an even stronger love for EATING food.

Growing up I always wanted to work in this industry, but I didn't know where to start.

I've chosen to wear many hats while trying to figure out where I fit in food.

I've been a hostess, a server, and a general manager.

Now, as a business owner, I think I've found what I love!

The freedom to be creative in the kitchen has always been a big part of my love for food.

I've always been really creative, and I always knew I had style.

I just knew I had to find a way to get my creativity and style into the thing I was most passionate about...

FOOD! 

I love hosting dinner parties and brunches with friends.

You could say that making new and creative dishes for them is my THANG! 

 One brunch, I decided to make a charcuterie board.

I thought it would be a great way for my friends to have something tasty AND pretty to enjoy. 

The look on their faces that day inspired me to experiment with my boards, more and more.

Just like that, my idea grew in this! My own charcuterie catering business!

It's the perfect way to combine sweets and savories together in the most beautiful (and delicious) ways.

No matter the occasion, no matter the event, there's a board your family and friends will love.
