Ruth officiated our wedding during COVID. She was extremely professional, responsive and very reasonably priced compared to others. Ruth was thorough and on time and made our day very special. She also followed up promptly with a copy of our personalized vows and provided us with everything we needed afterwards. I highly recommend Ruth.
Best Officiant
Me and my Husband are so happy with her as our wedding officiant. At first we did not have any idea how our wedding will flow but she helped us from the scratch up until the day of our wedding. She brought up the mood of our guests that day and she made sure that everything is perfect. She was fun and flexible. We’re recommend her especially the LGBT couples out there who planning to have a memorable and meaningful wedding :)

Throughout the entire process from start to finish Ruth helped us and guided us the entire way. She made everything so easy and understandable. She really made us comfortable and more at ease once in the front of everyone. She really did an awesome job, The ceremony was beautiful. You definitely felt that joining people together was something she really did love to do. It felt very sincere and was appreciated.
Needed an officiant in a hurry!
I clicked on the Blackman Wedding Ceremonies box to read the info. There were some reviews which were quite lovely and I felt you were the perfect person. I had not contacted anyone prior to finding your information and sending my inquiry and I did not contact anyone after sending my inquiry. You were the one and only and I just had a feeling. The rest is beautiful history. The kids were very happy with the ceremony. It was so wonderful you were available and you officiated with so much personal attention. The kids provided me with a copy of the ceremony, and a video! Monica's dad and I were thrilled. It was just what they wanted, just when they wanted it. Thank you again, ever so much for making it possible.

Ruth was such a pleasure to work with during the process of wedding planning. My husband and I were supposed to be married in September of 2020, but due to the Pandemic, we made the tough decision to postpone until August of 2021. Ruth was very accommodating to our postponement and kept in touch along the way. She performed the most beautiful ceremony that she wrote specifically for us. We could not have been happier with the ceremony she created for us and are so glad we asked Ruth to be our officiant! Thank you again!!

What can I say about Ruth’s services? She took the time to meet with me (pre-COVID) and really discuss my relationship in depth, helped me to understand and gain perspective of what is truly important in my relationship, then gave me questions that could summarize my feelings to better understand how to organize all my thoughts when writing my vows. There is so much you want to say, but to truly convey how you feel about your future husband can be very hard to detail when writing your own vows, but also can be a daunting task (also pressure when everyone will be watching). After finishing answering the questions she provided, I wrote my vows.

Ruth not only took her time reading my vows, but helped me with grammatical and structural issues. She also gave me a visual with EACH line of my vows. She detailed where to pause and put commas and capitalized where I should put more stress on certain words to help show more expression. All in all, Ruth gave her all with helping me write my vows and guided me in making sure my day and vows were special to convey to my now husband, my family & friends. I HIGHLY recommend her service. You won’t regret it. Ruth truly cares about your day.
Great Service
Ruth was great! She made the process very easy and was totally open to what we wanted with no judgments. She came to our home and was very on time and early to each appointment which we loved. She was very accommodating and we will be sure to recommend her to anyone we know that is wanting to get married as well. Thanks Ruth for helping make our day wonderful. 10/10!
